Reduce stress and tension that you hold in your body with an exquisite body massage. Michelle will use her expertise to target those tight tense muscles using a range of techniques. Michelle has both studied and lectured in traditional and advanced techniques such as swedish, deep tissue, acupressure, PNF, Myo-fascial release, AIS and Ayurvedic massage. My main aim is to devise a treatment that addresses your specific problems pertaining to your mind and body. Be it emotional stress and general relaxation or a shoulder or back problem. Advanced Clinical Sports Massage
Clinical massage is scientific in its approach. Precise techniques can identify the likely cause of pain looking at trigger point pain patterns within the soft tissue. The objective is to bring a clinical based outcome within one to six treatments. The focus treats the soft tissue and fascia to assist with the healing. The aim increases range of motion using stretching techniques such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) or active isolated stretching and to decrease pain within the body.
Clinical massage may treat the following conditions or assist with general well being:

Massage for Relaxation
Reduce tension and relieve the effects of every day stress. A prescriptive treatment will be provided utilising a range of specialised techniques such as Ayurvedic massage, both Swedish and lymphatic techniques, Myofascial release and acupressure. My existing clients vouch that this is the best massage they have experienced and I am extremely proud of the stream of positive feedback.
Reflexology
Please don't mistake traditional reflexology for a faffy foot massage. Authentic reflexology is traditionally demonstrated in China by using special tools such as sticks. We have Westernised this treatment to make it less painful however, it is still deceptively deep. It is a powerful treatment for the feet to nourish all systems of the body. If you have never experienced reflexology then I cannot recommend this treatment enough.
Indian Head Massage
A wonderfully deep invigorating treatment based on traditional techniques. Aims to restore you relieving eye, neck scalp and jaw tension.

Michelle now offers online consultations to enable you to identify and deal with your aches and pains. Whilst hands-on techniques and treatment are vital, it is imperative that you do as much as you can to assist your body in-between treatment times. The more you can do by way of stretching, self trigger point work and by using breathing techniques, the better your body will be.
I will teach you how to use MFR balls, identify trigger points and show you how to release tight contractile tissue in and around those problem areas. Your body will thank you, helping to eliminate those aches and pains. There is a myriad of information out there, but you need to be an expert to pinpoint and to know which techniques are best suited to you. The way in which the session works is that I will have a quick chat by telephone to organise your zoom consultation time. I will ask details about you current skin concerns and a few details as to where to send your goodie bag of dermalogica samples. If you are new to zoom sessions, don't worry, I was too and all I can say is that if I can adapt, so can you. I will talk you through the simple steps of initial set up.
During the actual zoom consultation we will address your skin care concerns and can do a mirror me session where we use the products together step by step. This session is suitable for both men and women and teenagers if an adult is present.
